Our story

Pryde Fabrication was incorporated in May 1995 after Managing Director, Warren Pryde, recognised the growing demand for specialist stainless steel fabrication within the industry. Since its establishment, the company has grown into a trusted provider of high-quality design, manufacture, installation and maintenance services, while maintaining its commitment to quality workmanship, innovation and customer service.

Operating from our purpose-built facility in Cleveland on Brisbane's Bayside, Pryde Fabrication has the workshop capability to design and construct a diverse range of specialist metal products using stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium. While our foundations were built on stainless steel fabrication, we have continually evolved to meet the changing needs of our clients, expanding our expertise into the manufacture, installation and maintenance of public transport infrastructure and street furniture throughout Queensland and New South Wales.

Today, Pryde Fabrication has over 31 years of experience delivering compliant, durable and accessible public infrastructure. As a long-standing supplier to government and transport authorities, we have developed extensive expertise in the delivery of public transport infrastructure across Queensland and New South Wales.

Our experience includes long-term contracts with Translink, Brisbane City Council and Queensland Rail, together with projects for numerous local governments throughout South East Queensland, including Redland City Council, Logan City Council, Ipswich City Council and South Burnett Regional Council.

Over the years, Pryde Fabrication has successfully designed, manufactured, installed and upgraded more than 2,000 bus stops and associated public transport assets. Our services encompass the complete project lifecycle, including design, civil works, fabrication, installation and ongoing maintenance, enabling us to deliver integrated solutions tailored to client requirements.

What we design, build and install

Our capabilities include the design, manufacture, supply and installation of a comprehensive range of public transport infrastructure, including:

• Bus stop upgrades from Regular through to Intermediate, Premium and Signature stops.
• Translink-approved shelters, seating, bins and associated street furniture.
• Brisbane City Council public transport seating.
• Bus stop sign infrastructure, timetable cases, J-poles and tactile ground surface indicators.
• Stainless steel fabrication and bespoke public infrastructure components.

Maintenance

In addition to manufacturing and installation, Pryde Fabrication has more than twelve years of experience delivering maintenance services, managing over 1,500 bus shelters across Queensland and New South Wales. This extensive maintenance capability provides valuable insight into whole-of-life asset performance, ensuring infrastructure is designed and constructed for long-term durability, ease of maintenance and ongoing compliance.
